# Appointed President of Coding 4 All (C4A)
I was recently appointed President of the Coding 4 All (C4A) Club at BCIT.
This role is especially meaningful to me because it builds on the work I have already been doing with student support, club events, and the broader computing community at BCIT. What began as helping with review sessions, club initiatives, and event support has now turned into an opportunity to help lead and shape that work more directly.
Coding 4 All plays an important role in building community for students interested in computing. Through events, collaboration, and peer support, the club helps create more opportunities for students to learn, connect, and grow outside the classroom.
As President, I hope to help strengthen that impact by supporting initiatives such as:
- student review sessions
- technical events and collaboration with CC hackathons
- community-building within BCIT computing
- stronger collaboration across related student groups
I am excited to take on more responsibility in a role that combines leadership, organization, and service to the student community.
This appointment also reflects something that matters a lot to me personally: contributing to communities that helped students like me feel more connected, more supported, and more motivated to grow.
More updates to come as the role becomes official and planning begins for upcoming events and initiatives.
