## Overview
|
|
|
|
Lines Police CAD is a web-based service built with Node.js and MongoDB.
|
|
|
|
I contributed new features, bug fixes, and general technical support while working within an already established product and codebase.
|
|
While also being a core maintainer to the official Discord Bot extension for LPC, managing hosting, bug fixes, administration, and more.
|
|
|
|
## Focus Areas
|
|
|
|
- Contributing effectively inside a collaborative project
|
|
- Working on production-facing features and fixes
|
|
- Supporting a platform used by a large community
|
|

|
## Notes
|
|
|
|
This project strengthened my ability to work inside an existing system rather than only building from scratch.
|
|
It taught me skills working with end users to communicate changes, fixes and engage in the general community.
|
